Gifted Curators offers “DC weed at its finest.” One of our cannabis connoisseurs, Kush-n-Pain, is sampling legendary strains from Gifted Curators to review for Urban Aroma readers. Read on for Kush-n-Pain’s review of Wedding Cake.
Wedding Cake
This bud sure looks pretty sitting in her glass house, throwing come-hither stones in my direction. I draw closer, and unspin the lid. Sweet floral musky terpenes gambol out of the glass jar in some kind of Bud Powell "Dance of The Infidels" fashion that escapes into my lungs and the general atmosphere.
Grasping for my lighted magnifier, I roll up on the jar to take a deep look at Wedding Cake. Her true green can be seen, like the grass in a park after a trichome hailstorm has begun to melt. Green hairs lay about like a modern day bohemian art chick. I also spot some recessed deep purple in the fully-formed, dense yet lightweight buds.
Two Tokes Test
Wowsers, that first taste is totally a cherry pie cookie. I don't hold it for long because the exhale is crazy peppery. My second hit generates a cough, and although I want more, I hesitate as the first hit starts to kick in. In practicing what I preach, I put down the chillum because I am feeling responsibly dosed.
The Breakdown
Cherry Pie x GSC spawned this review. Quality indoor farming yielded an excellent mind bake.
Cannabinoids
Lab results say that this strain tests from 18 - 24% THC.
Final Hit
Wedding Cake is certainly potent, and not for beginners. The experienced can expect a cosmic ride within and throughout the poly-dimensional omniverse. This plant is less spoken of for its medicinal value, and mostly lauded for its very stoned experience. New smokers may experience a cosmic freakout. 'Nuff said.
Rating: On the Ephrata 1-10 scale I give this batch of Wedding Cake a 9.75.
