Sour Diesel Strain Review

Sour Diesel Strain Review
Gifted Curators offers “DC weed at its finest.” One of our cannabis connoisseurs, Kush-n-Pain, is sampling legendary strains from Gifted Curators to review for Urban Aroma readers. Read on for Kush-n-Pain’s review of Sour Diesel.

Sour Diesel

Spicy, candy, citrus earth tones jump out at me from this bud like potpourri. A deep respiration brings joy, and upon the exhale I catch the Diesel aroma and flavor. Yum. Trichomes, gooey hairs and sticky under-globs, oh my. The bud color is a pastel lime with translucent hairs and slight reddish hints beneath white. Yeah, I'd date her.

Two Tokes Test

Sour Diesel fails the ️Two Tokes Test as I take a pre-hit warm up, and cough myself into a nice head. The lemony, earth-flavored clouds wafting about as I catch my breath are quickly forgotten. An 'I feel great' sensation washes my face, head and body.
Tensions and anxiety melt away, and my neck, shoulders and back feel mellow. This is a great cultivar for handling daily duties, as the 90/10 sativa dominance and balanced cannabinoids offer an alert ease.

The Breakdown

The genetics are questionable, as an agreement on Chemdawg 91 is there but whether Super Skunk or Mexican Sativa is the other progenitor is open for debate.

Cannabinoids

  • CBD and CBN balance out the 23% THC gas

Terpenes

  • Caryophyllene (peppery )
  • Limonene (citrus )
  • Myrcene (herbal )
All the terpenes play their roles, making Sour Diesel a surely enjoyable mind-body experience.

Final Hit

I would recommend Sour Diesel for anyone, unless you're looking for sleep. As always, noobs should ease into this space suit and get ready to blast off like a Space X satellite launch.
Rating: For sativa freaks this is probably a 9.5-9 out of 10, depending on personal taste and physical preferences.
