Garanimals Strain Review

Garanimals Strain Review
Gifted Curators offers “DC weed at its finest.” One of our cannabis connoisseurs, Kush-n-Pain, is sampling legendary strains from Gifted Curators to review for Urban Aroma readers. Read on for Kush-n-Pain’s review of Garanimals.

Garanimals

A singular toke of Garanimals after a 12-hour day is a mild come-on. I feel the lift in my mental state as my body aches melt away. Perhaps this is due to the terpenes: limonene, caryophyllene and myrcene, from the genetic parent Animal Cookies. This cultivar isn't crushingly cerebral, with an 70/30 indica dominance. It is definitely good for creativity, maybe a hobby.
Taking a moment with a magnifying glass and light, I see the dense dark and light green buds are hairy and somewhat frosted, sporting the tiniest of juicy trichomes.

Two Tokes Test

The flavor of Garanimals is subtle and earthy, with spiced nut berries. Some might complain about the effects of this strain, unless they are a true indica head. This is not a fruity, delicious flower. It is, however, a great relaxing buzz for a veteran.

The Breakdown

Garanimals is a cross of Grape Pie with Animal Cookies.

Cannabinoids

  • Lab results show +22% THC.

Terpenes

  • Limonene

Final Hit

The +22% THC will prolly couch the novice or occasional partaker. My rumbling tummy and guts eased, and yup, I got munchies for some nectarines and cherries.
Rating: On the Ephrata 1-10 scale I rate Garanimals as 8.5 — it's surprisingly powerful, but the taste isn't delicious.
