DC Glass Gallery Review

DC Glass Gallery Review
Whether you’re the kind of smoker who spends $30 for a basic bowl, or one who'll shell out $200 for a beautiful high-end heady pipe, DC Glass Gallery has you covered. As I step into the store, I suddenly feel like I’ve got to tip-toe as I’m surrounded by astounding artistic glass rigs, pendants, bowls and water pipes. DC Glass Gallery also has CBD gummies, honey, flower and more for sale.  There are three locations in DC, with the main glass gallery located at 2625 Connecticut Ave. DC Glass Gallery 1 features artists like Liz Wright, who is known for making unique octopus and sea themed pendants and pieces.

Wright’s colorful sea-themed intricate rigs will catch the eye of glass enthusiasts and make a smoker wanna go to the beach.  One of the most exquisite items on display in the gallery is a collaboration blown by well-known artist Salt and Richmond, VA artist Justin Carter.  Taking “Rip Curl” home will cost you a whopping $7500, but there are dozens of more affordable Justin Carter pieces on display at the gallery.

Other well-known glass artists have several of pieces in the gallery, including Jared Reed Vai, Rye, BCM, and AKMglass The gallery also offers high-end brands like Mathematix Glass and Tsunami Premium. By far the coolest heady piece I’ve ever seen is a glass light saber on display. You have to go check it out for yourself — a photo doesn't do the unique piece justice. The 18th Street store and gallery on Connecticut Avenue are open Monday through through Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm and Sundays from noon to 8 pm.  The gallery at 3289 M Street is open Monday through Wednesday from 10 am to 8 pm, Thursday through Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from noon to 8 pm.  All glass sales are final.
