Bubblegum Kush Strain Review

Bubblegum Kush Strain Review

Gifted Curators offers “DC weed at its finest.” One of our cannabis connoisseurs, Kush-n-Pain, is sampling legendary strains from Gifted Curators to review for Urban Aroma readers. Read on for Kush-n-Pain’s review of Bubblegum Kush.

Bubblegum Kush

Bubblegum Kush is an indica-dominant hybrid, much like the preponderance of the Kush family. This flower offers a full-body experience, with a wonderful cerebral lift at the onset.
The aroma is a tangy, fruitful, mouthwatering bubblegum. Upon inhalation, one is given to a calming yet alert mental state. This effect is partially due to the terpenes — these essential oils go to work on mind and body before the first draw from a spliff.
The buds are dense medium-green with dark aspects mostly hidden by the frost of trichomes. There are some white hairs. In general, this well cultivated batch is easy on the eyes.

Two Tokes Test

A bit harsh on my lungs and numbing my gums are the primary sensations. The flavor is floral, woodsy, with sweet and sour fruit and a slight aftertaste of gum.

The Breakdown

The progenitors of this fine flower were gathered by Bulldog Seeds in the Netherlands. Bringing Bubblegum together with OG Kush, a fuller spectrum indica was born. Its lower CBD content synergizes well with linalool and other elements to enable significant body ease. Bipolar, fibromyalgia, depression and PMS have been reported to be lessened by this cultivar.

Cannabinoids

Lab results show:
  • THC: +17 - 23%,
  • CBD: .08 - .51%,
  • CBC: .07 - 1.15%,
  • CBG: .44 - 2.18%,
  • THCV: .22 - 1.17%

Terpenes

  • Alpha pinene: (pine, rosemary, dill, bronchodilator, aids memory, asthma)
  • Linalool: (lavender, bergamot, floral, anti-anxiety, sedative, anticonvulsant)
  • Bisabolol: (German chamomile, tangy, citrus, floral, sweet)
  • Phellandrene: (eucalyptus, mint, citrus, peppery, anti-depressant, anticancer, expectorant)
  • Geraniol: (rose, tobacco, floral, antioxidant, antispasmodic, anti-fungal)

Final Hit

Having a THC of 23% means that Bubblegum Kush offers up a mighty head to go with body relaxation, so heavy equipment operation is a no. And though anxiety and stress melt away, new consumers can be thrust into a more intense experience than expected, so dose responsibly.
Rating: Because of its power, I give Bubblegum Kush a 9.5 on the Ephrata 1-10 Scale.
